Auto Repair in Fort Collins, CO 

I have entrusted my vehicle to Campus Auto Repair for the 4 years my son has attended school in Fort Collins and have been pleased with their work and honesty. As a mechanic it’s hard to trust someone else to work on my truck, but since I can’t fix it myself I know it’s in good hands.

Had rotors checked to see if they needed replacement. They took my car out for a drive to test them, and put it up to clean them. Found lots of dirt from driving a dirt road but no need to replace like another place said I needed. All was explained to me, and I was treated kindly and respectfully. Would recommend Campus Auto to all my friends.

Would HIGHLY recommend this shop to anyone. I have had my share of car troubles throughout the years, and have had a chance to get service from any number of shops around Northern Colorado. My experience with Campus Repair has been one of the few places that didn’t leave me feeling frustrated with the process of getting my car repaired. I had issues with my CVT on my Subaru, which the dealer said would require a full replacement of the transmission to fix. When it finally did start to fail, I brought it into Campus Repair. Not only did they get to inspecting my car a day earlier than they had indicated, but my car was returned to me that same day. They also were able to service the transmission by replacing the valve body, which saved me a TON of money. Not only this, but when my check engine light came back on the day after leaving the shop (completely unrelated issue, just poor timing), they quickly took the car back into their shop, and spent the time to diagnose the new issue, fix it, and triple check the car to make sure there were no other issues. Finally, as someone who is generally wary of mechanics, I ask A LOT of questions. Everyone that I interacted with was patient with me, kind, understanding, and willing to spend the time to make sure I understood the services they were providing, and could move forward with confidence in my vehicle and the work that had been done to it. Overall, while the price tag might match what other shops would provide, my opinion is that you pay fair prices for exceedingly good service and expertise. I will continue to take my vehicles to Campus Repair for service, and will happily recommend anyone else does the same.

I was riding my Harley down College ave, and to my dismay my highway bar had rattled loose. I had no money and was already late for work. I typed into google “mechanic near me” and luckily for me this shop was only a mile up the road. I pulled into the driveway in front of a closed bay door, praying that this place would have somebody cool to help me out. As it turns out, Dave the owner welcomed me in, heard me out, and proceeded to help me out with no promise of money, and with a very welcoming and cheerful demeanor. I don’t need any work done right now but as soon as I do, I will take it to this place 100% just because of the vibe.

Wonderful experience! My daughter’s car started giving us issues the week of college move out. Had it towed to Campus Repair on Monday, by mid-day Tuesday they had updated us and were running diagnostics. Wends they had it figured out, we were able to pick it up by 10 am and hit the road for home. Very nice to work with, professional and great prices.

The first time i came in I had a starter installed in my car which was a lemon out of the box. I called them and they had it towed for free, and replaced the starter at no additional charge. I’m glad they made the effort to make things right! Quality work!

100% recommend this shop! I have a 3rd party warranty that we purchased with our car and they were able to work with the warranty and have the car fixed and good as new in just a couple days. They also had an old Jimmy they were working on, so they do old and new!
